Our Physicians

The Bone and Joint Surgery Clinic is one of Wake County’s oldest and best-known orthopaedic practices. Our founding physicians, Dr. Burroughs Jr. and Dr. Edwards Sr., established the practice in 1971. For almost 50 years, our practice has dedicated itself to providing patients with personalized orthopaedic care.

All of our Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeons have years of experience and maintain advanced training in their sub-specialties. We also are exceptionally trained to treat sports medicine injuries. At The Bone and Joint Surgery Clinic we always have a physician on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to assist our patients. Together, our doctors and staff are dedicated to providing patients with the latest and highest quality of orthopaedic care available in the Triangle and its surrounding areas. We strive to maintain a comfortable and compassionate environment and we continue to be one of the few independent community-based orthopaedic practices in the Triangle.
