Another common sports injury, anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tears may debilitate the affected athlete. Often the ACL needs to be surgically reconstructed for a patient to return to competition. The variety of ACL reconstruction options include allograft, patellar tendon autograft and hamstring autograft.
