WHITNEY CAVENDER PT, DPT, CSCS
Physical Therapist
Whitney earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology from West Virginia University where she played collegiate soccer. She then worked as a coaching assistant for young athletes with disabilities through TOP Soccer League. It was during this time where she began to develop a passion for helping others perform to the best of their ability. She went on to earn her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at West Virginia University as well. Whitney has been working as a physical therapist in the triangle region for 5 years, where she has undergone extensive continuing education and earned various certifications. In 202 she became a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS) through the NSCA in order to help improve athletic performance and reduce injury. She is also certified in dry needling, graston, kinesio taping, selective functional movement assessment and is an APTA certified clinical instructor. Whitney is passionate about helping her patients achieve their goals by taking an active role in their recovery.
During her free time she enjoys exercising, walking her lab Cheddar, reading and spending time with friends and family
